how does it work ?
Parties and the award
Parties do not object to the publication of the award or the ICDR international award becomes public during the course of enforcement or otherwise. The ICDR provides the parties with an opportunity to object to the publication of awards in writing within six months from the date of the award.
Personal data is pseudonymized or anonymized
Any personal data in the awards and related documents is redacted via pseudonymization or anonymization where appropriate. This ensures that only necessary and pre-approved details and names are published in the public domain. The name and details of arbitrators and the name and cities of parties’ law firms are not redacted.
ICDR endorses the digital version of the award
Following pseudonymization or anonymization, Jus Mundi converts the award or related document into a digital document which is endorsed by the ICDR.
Publication of the award on Jus Mundi
With final checks and approval from the ICDR, Jus Mundi publishes the ICDR award or related ICDR document freely to the public on its website. This information is then searchable through Jus Mundi’s multilingual search engine and its other tools.
