Internship in Investment Arbitration and / or Public International Law

The company

Jus Mundi is a company building a multilingual and intelligent search engine for international law.
The first version of the search engine is dedicated to International Investment Arbitration.

You will join a passionate team of lawyers and tech people who are willing to contribute to international justice worldwide by making international law accessible to lawyers around the world.
We are mainly based in Paris and collaborating with lawyers and academics worldwide.

The internship

The internship starts as soon as possible, for a 2-month period.
You will be based in Paris and will be part of the legal and operational team.

Main tasks include:

  • Analyzing and qualifying investment arbitration awards and /or ICJ and PCIJ judgments, to teach our artificial intelligence
  • Drafting and translating documentation relating to investment arbitration and / or public international law
  • Conducting legal monitoring
  • Managing social networks communication
  • Supporting the technical team in relation with knowledge of international law

Requirements

You have completed, or you are enrolled in, a Master 1, 2 or LL.M. in International Law and / or Arbitration.
You possess a very good knowledge of Investment Arbitration and Public International Law.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualities: consciousness, autonomy, creativity, maturity, good communication skills.
A practical experience in investment arbitration and / or public international law, as well as an interest in informatic and cognitive technologies are very welcome.

Fluent English is a requirement. Being fluent in one of the following languages is an asset: Arabic, Chinese, or Spanish.
